Drummer Albert Copping as a boy soldier in The Grenadier Guards

Drummer Albert Copping in The Grenadier Gurards.
The 1901 census shows that Albert was the second youngest of the children of Albert Snr. and Annie Copping. In 1904 Alberts father died and by the time of the 1911 census return all of the family had scattered. Albert enlisted and is shown to be a boy soldier.
Albert's war only lasted one month…
