In Memory of Private Frank Bernard Elvin of the 1st/4th Btn. Suffolk Regiment who died on the 11th February 1917.

Frank Elvin was the son of Ethel and Daniel Elvin. He was born in 1897. The 1901 census return shows the family living in Queens Street with Frank's father being the village Blacksmith. The 1911 census return shows the family living at Kersey Hall with Frank as a Apprentice grocer. He was one of eleven children - one of his siblings having pre-deceased him.
