In memory of Corporal Alfred Charles Webb of 1st Btn. Kings Royal Rifles Corps who died on the 17th Februaury 1917 aged 19.

Corporal Webb was the son of John Charles Webb and Lilla Charlotte Webb and the brother of Guy and Benjamin. In 1903 Alfred's father died and by the 1911 census return the family are living in Stradbroke Post Office building with John's brother Harry Webb - the photographer and his father Benjamin.
