In Memory of Private Augustus Keeble of the 8th Btn. Norfolk Regiment who died on 22nd October 1916 at the age of 26.

On 5th October 2014 students from Stradbroke High School visited Thiepval and placed a British Legion cross at the memorial in his memory.
Private Keeble was the son of Walter and Susanna Keeble. He was born in Stradbroke and was one of eight children. On the 1911 census return he is shown to be unmarried, living on the Diss Road and working as a Farm Labourer
