In Memory of Corporal Alfred Charles Webb
Corporal Alfred Charles Webb with his mother Lilla and Guy, one of his two brothers. Lilla and her sons came to live with her brother-in-law, photographer Harry Webb and father-in-law Benjamin at the post office in Stradbroke after the early death of her husband.
Lilla asked for the inscription "Never Forgotten" to be put on her son's gravestone.

Alfred was killed on 17th February 1917 at the age of just 19.
